"Home sales in Waterloo Region declined by 14.5 per cent year-over-year in October while new listings fell 17.3 per cent over the same period" said Bill Duce, CEO of Cornerstone. "Despite the slowdown, Waterloo Region continued to have the tightest supply across Cornerstone's major market areas, with 3.7 months of supply. Benchmark prices also declined in both Kitchener-Waterloo and Cambridge, although market conditions varied across the region. These differences highlight the value of working with a local REALTOR® who understands neighbourhood-level trends and can help buyers and sellers make informed decisions."
